Overview
A crate containing one or more weapons, which can be any weapon in the game including both melee weapons and firearms. Unlike item boxes, weapon crates can only be opened once, so it is worth stopping to check them when you find them rather than leaving them for later and risking missing out entirely. The range of what a weapon crate can contain spans the full breadth of available weapons, meaning a single crate could hold something immediately useful or something that fills a gap in your current loadout. Finding one at the right moment can meaningfully change how the rest of a run plays out.
