Overview
The dagger is an innate weapon used exclusively for stealth executions, serving a very specific purpose that no other weapon in the game fulfills in quite the same way. To perform an execution, sneak up on a non-alerted enemy and press F on PC, or tap the kick button on mobile. It is first encountered in the AWOL level, where it is picked up from a corpse and serves as your primary means of fighting through the mission. Its role is defined entirely by stealth, making it most effective when enemies have not yet detected your presence and least useful once a fight has broken out in the open.
Trivia
The dagger is always available to be used by the player as long as the target is not alerted.
