This Privacy Policy explains how Buwaya ("Game") handles user information. By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. No Personal Data Collection

The Developer of Buwaya does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share personally identifiable information from users through the Game.

The Game does not require account creation and does not directly collect information such as:

Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Home addresses
Payment card information
Government-issued identification
Photos, contacts, messages, or files

The Game is designed entirely as an offline, single-player experience. It does not require an internet connection to play and does not transmit any data to the Developer during use.

2. Local Save Data

Buwaya stores gameplay-related save data locally on your device for normal gameplay functionality.

This local save data may include:

Game progress
Settings and preferences
In-game state information

This data remains stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to the Developer or any third party.

3. Engine and Device System Functions

Buwaya is built using the Godot game engine. Like most game engines, Godot may, as part of normal operation, read certain basic device and system information strictly for technical purposes, such as:

Device operating system and version (used to ensure compatibility and correct rendering)
Screen resolution and hardware capabilities (used for display and performance settings)
Reading device date and time for in-game mechanics, where applicable
Standard system calls necessary for application operation, including exiting or closing the Game

This information is used only locally by the engine to run the Game correctly on your device. It is not collected, logged, or transmitted to the Developer.

4. Third-Party Services and Platform Providers

Buwaya is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google, as the platform provider, may independently collect, process, or store information under its own privacy policy and terms, separate from and outside the control of the Developer. Examples may include:

Device identifiers
Download and installation statistics
Platform analytics
Crash diagnostics handled by the platform provider
Payment processing, if applicable to future in-app purchases

The Developer does not have access to, and does not control, how Google collects or processes this information. Users should review the Google Privacy Policy directly for details on Play Store data practices.

5. No Advertising or User Tracking

Buwaya does not currently include:

Third-party advertising networks
Behavioral advertising systems
User profiling systems
Personalized advertising
Account-based tracking systems

The Developer does not track users across apps, websites, or services. Should advertising be introduced in a future update, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance to reflect that change.

6. Data Security

Because the Developer does not directly collect or store personal user data through the Game, the amount of personal information handled directly by the Developer is minimal to none. Reasonable efforts are nonetheless made to maintain the security and integrity of the Game and its distributed files.

7. Children's Privacy

The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please refer to the Game's Google Play Store listing for its assigned content and age rating.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Developer reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. This policy may be updated in advance, or can be late in relation to game updates. For material changes, reasonable efforts may be made to notify users through the Game's official distribution page or other official channels. Continued use of the Game after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
